    Event Description:
    Join us on Tuesday May 18th from 8:30-9:30am for our EG Local Love Information Session.

    During this coffee chat session we will hear from the following organizations:

    EG Public Library
    : Will be sharing information about technology lending, such as cameras, Chromebooks, and tablets; as well the tech training supports offered by the library. They will also discuss the library's current curbside operations, in-place community support structures, and upcoming programs.
     
    Sharon Temple: Will talk about the history of EG, in particular the Town of Sharon and the Sharon Temple National Historic Site & Museum. In addition, we will provide information about our tours, camps, programs, events and rentals.
     
    Town of East Gwillimbury: Will be talking about programs in place for businesses during Covid-19 and speak about the Farmer’s Market and plans for future events.
     
    East Gwillimbury Chamber of Commerce Tourism:1) Will be talking about our NEW EG Day Trip Itineraries. The first itinerary will be launched in June, and the second will be launched in September. They will discuss the goals of the itinerary, a thorough list of the local businesses/ attractions that are involved, how the itineraries can be accessed, and the timeframe of when the itineraries can be used. 2) Farm to Fork Tour 2021. They will discuss the plan for the tour this year, the farms who will be participating, a new prospect that may participate, and additional funding to elevate the customer service experience this year. They will also touch on feedback from 2020 received from farms and attendees, and how they are using that feedback to improve this year.
