Free Rapid Tests Available for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses under 150 employees!

The East Gwillimbury Chamber of Commerce and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Ontario and Canadian governments, have launched the COVID-19 Rapid Screening Initiative.

The goal of the program is to identify asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic cases of COVID-19 in the workplace that might otherwise be missed, helping to curb the spread in the workplace, at home and around the community.

Through this initiative, we will be distributing free rapid tests for small and medium-sized businesses across the businesses of East Gwillimbury!

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, it is critical that businesses are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources to respond to protect public health and ensure the continued essential operations of their organizations. COVID-19 Business Reopening Guidance & Safety Resources

The business reopening guidelines are set by the Ontario Government, which is currently following the "Roadmap to Reopen" framework. It is the responsibility of each business to ensure they are following the guidelines of the Ontario Government and York Region Public Health to protect the health and safety of their employees and customers.
